Pulled Steak Sandwich

On those colder days, enjoy a warm steak sandwich that has lots of flavor and juiciness.

  • 4 Rudi’s Organic Wheat Hamburger Buns
  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak
  • 2 onions (one chopped, one sliced & grilled)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 green pepper, sliced and grilled
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Place meat in a slow cooker with chopped onion, ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 6 hours. Remove steak and cut into thin slices. On a toasted bun, place steak, cheese, grilled onion, and grilled pepper.
