Brown Sugar Bread Pudding

Our favorite kind of pudding by far, this dish is just as yummy served warm as it is served cold!

  • 7 cups (about 6 or 7 slices) day-old Rudi’s Organic Bakery® Honey Sweet Whole Wheat bread, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup hot water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 lightly beaten eggs
  • 1 ½ cups warm milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° and grease a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray
  2. Place bread cubes in dish
  3. Combine warm water and brown sugar in small bowl; pour over bread evenly
  4. Combine the granulated sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla extract cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and add to the dish
  5. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour
