It’s May, so grab your kids and jump in the car to help celebrate Celiac Awareness Month. Destination: Charleston, S.C. This city is thrilled to be hosting their first ever Gluten/Allergen-Free Expo on May 5th. The city is taking this task seriously, bringing in the big gun celiac disease experts like Melinda Dennis, R.D., and Dr. Peter Osborne who will share advice, health and nutrition information to attendees.
In addition, around 70 gluten and allergen-free vendors will be showcasing foods, products and services to help with all of your gluten-free needs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Omar Shriner Temple Auditorium at Patriot’s Point, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Start your morning off right with a gluten-free pancake breakfast and then meet us in the expo hall for some gluten-free goodness. Have you tried our tasty new tortillas yet? You can find where we sell them nearby in Charleston by clicking on our Where to Buy tool on our website.
For more information or to buy tickets, visit the expo’s website. Also, follow up on Facebook and Twitter for updates on our participation in the expo. We can’t wait to see you there!
