Baked on the Bright Side

Recap: A Delicious, Soft and Fluffy Adventure at Expo West!

March 12, 2013

Dear Rudi’s Gluten-Free Readers,

You may have noticed an absence of blog posts on our website in the past week.  This was due to the fact that the large majority of the Rudi’s team was attending Natural Products Expo West.  “Expo West” (as it is commonly referred to here around the office) is the BIGGEST natural products trade show in the world!  Virtually every business in the natural products industry from producers and retailers to marketing agencies and bloggers made an “Expo West” appearance at the Anaheim Convention Center from March 8th through March 10th.  Hundreds of companies from Rudi’s and Odwalla to Dr. Bronner’s and Nature’s Way showcased their new products and services.

As Rudi’s newest and youngest employee, I was completely blown away at the enormous scale of the trade show.  I am extremely impressed at how far the natural products/Gluten-Free industry has come from just 10 years ago!  The number of high-quality options for the natural home shopper has truly continued to multiply year after year.

This weekend, I was exuberated to showcase several awesome new Rudi’s products including our new Gluten-Free Soft and Fluffy Recipe!  We showcased our Gluten Free bread with Gluten-Free Cinnamon Raisin toast, GF quesadillas (made with our critically acclaimed GF Tortillas) and GF Grilled Cheese Sandwiches!  We received excellent consumer response throughout Expo West, stating that our GF bread “really is Soft and Fluffy,” “Is barely distinguishable from the real thing,” and “tastes wholesomely great!”  I was very happy to receive this feedback because it shows that consumers truly appreciate Rudi’s efforts to create the most naturally-sourced Gluten-Free products on the market.

Overall, this weekend left me feeling very proud and inspired by the collective effort amongst the natural product businesses and services to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.  Unlike many other competitive industries, the natural product industry surprises me with its friendly cohesiveness and collaboration to continue building on the ever so important natural product movement.

Here’s to a future “Baked on the Bright Side!”

Warmest Regards,

Dominic (Marketing Coordinator)
