Grilled cheese can be so simple and they are normally made that way, which is not a bad thing! But every once in a while I think it is good to fancy up that cheese and bread to make something a little more extravagant. It can make that easy childhood meal into a mouthwatering dish:) Here are a couple recipes that are easy to create but will make all the difference!
Berry & Brie
2 slices of Rudi’s Gluten-Free Original Bread
Line both of the piece of bread with thinly sliced brie, put the raspberry jam in the middle so it doesn’t soak up the bread. Heat up a medium sized pan, once heated coat the pan with butter and place your sandwich on the pan to be melted and grilled:) Cook until brie is melted and bread is golden brown!
1/4 cup sliced crimini mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 slices of swiss cheese
2 slices of Rudi’s Gluten-Free Multigrain Bread
In a medium pan, saute the mushrooms with the onions and some balsamic vinegar, butter, salt and pepper. Once the mushrooms and onions are cooked. Line the slices of bread with the swiss cheese and place the mushroom/ onion mixture in the middle. Re-butter the previous used pan and place the sandwich in the middle. Cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown:)
