Gluten-Free Pizza for Lunch? GF Gourmet Pizza Dinner? Even Gluten-free Pizza for Dessert?!

Pizza has become quiet the “hot food” to eat in America. Until recently pizza was targeted as a carb-loading, fast-food dining unhealthy food item. And while health food experts probably do not recommend consuming pizza as one of the top 10 healthiest foods, the re-invention of the American pizza has definitely skyrocketed this Italian cuisine up the healthy food scale rating! Butttt can we have delicious, healthy pizza that is also gluten-free and tasty?
For the past month Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery has been trying to get the word out BIG time about R Rudilicious gluten-free hamburger, hotdog and pizza crust products. We have been offering giveaways and forecasting announcements on R social media web pages to try and get YOU to give R pizza crusts a try!
We have read (and watched) a lot of awesome GF pizza creations over the past month like, Beyond Celery’s fresh peaches, basil, chevre, lemon zest, and drizzles of honey and olive oil pizza or our very own Alex in Action video!
One of the coolest things the Tomato Head Restaurant is doing is now offering R gluten-free pizza crust as an option on their menu! So if you live in the Maryville or Knoxville Tennessee area and are looking for a yummy GF place to grab a slice, problem solved!
Now traditionally I have always been a fan of the MargaRudi pizza but pizza for dessert has been sounding more and more appetizing lately! Nutella, peanut butter, strawberry and whipped cream or how about a pumpkin pie pizza?– can I say a sweet lover’s delight?! I also really like Gluten-free Birmingham’s idea for a taco pizza!

What I am trying to say is that, now that gluten-free pizza crusts are available it is time for the GF world to get healthy and a little kooky and try some new pizza concoctions! Host a pizza party and offer a prize to the craziest and tastiest pizza. Have a family make your own pizza night or how about take a Rudi’s Gluten-free pizza crust to your favorite restaurant and ask them to use it to prepare a Rudilicious pizza for you (cross-contamination avoided of course)!

Especially now that the weather is beginning to change having a slice of warm pizza served with your favorite toppings is pretty much irresistible! So do not forget to add the veggies and maybe throw a side salad together for some nutrients and get cooking because Gluten-free gourmet- lunch-dinner-dessert pizza’s are here and ready for eating!
