Summer time should be full of pool days, popsicles, and of course, picnics. You can’t go wrong with picnic staples like PB&J, fruit salad, and corn on the cob; but if you want something more inspired, then this post is for you. Keep reading for inventive options perfect for your next Al Fresco outing!

Try serving a yummy fruit salad and a delicious savory salad as side dishes. A tomato, avocado, cucumber salad tossed with oil and vinegar and sprinkled with Feta cheese is a great blend of flavors (and a great way to sneak in vegetables!) If you just want to bring one dish, the tried and true strawberry spinach salad is a good mix of fruits and veggies, and you can even add mangos, avocados, blueberries, and walnuts for some extra yum!

Swap out your sandwich for a tasty wrap! Just layer your favorite meat, veggies, and spreads in the center of a gluten-free tortilla and roll it up. Try experimenting with different sauces and spreads to find your perfect wrap. We love these Vegan Veggie Wraps to bring on the go!

Refreshing lemonade is a great way to brighten up any picnic, especially when it’s mixed with mango, strawberry, peach or watermelon! Flavored lemonade is easy to make and oh so delicious, and it’s an easy way to bring your picnic to the next level. The easiest way is to blend frozen fruit of your choice with lemonade and serve over ice!
