Baked on the Bright Side

Gluten & Allergen Free Expo Recap

February 18, 2013

The Gluten & Allergen Free Expo in San Francisco was such a hit! It was my first gluten free event and I had such a wonderful time  talking to attendees and other booth participants on their products. With over 110 sponsors and vendors, this event was definitely the one to be at. Over the course of two days, 2,000 people walked through the conference center aisles happily overwhelmed by all of the delicious gluten free samples. People of all ages attended this event to find new delicious gluten free food options, praise the food companies they already know and love, and simply have fun. Every type of food imaginable was there. From the amazing grilled cheeses I was making with Rudi’s Soft and Yummy gluten free bread to gluten free beer, there was something there for everyone to help make being gluten free a tiny bit easier.

If you are a newly diagnosed celiac looking for tips and tricks, a celiac veteran looking to meet up with friends and explore new hot items, or simply living a gluten free lifestyle and want more information, I highly recommend attending the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo.

The next Gluten and Allergen Free Expo will be happening in Des Moines April 6-7 and is open to the public!
