Chicago is one of the best food and entertainment cities in the country, and now it’s also a great place to enjoy gluten-free cuisine. Want to learn more? The Gluten & Allergen Free Expo will hit the Windy City on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.
From cooking classes focused on bread, baking, ethnic and healthy living, to sampling opportunities from the best local and national gluten-free and allergen-free companies, you’re sure to find all you need at this expo. Want even more? Download the expo’s smartphone app for instant access to 100 delicious gluten-free recipes!
This event is open to the public, so bring anyone you know who is interested in a gluten-free lifestyle. Head to the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center either day (or both!) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and check it out. Alex from Rudi’s Gluten-Free will be there offering samples of melt-in-your-mouth grilled cheese, our new gluten-free tortillas and offering plenty of tips to help you live on the bright side.
Plus, Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery is proud to be the stage sponsor at this annual event. The stage will be filled with speakers and cooking demos including a presentation by our good friend Amie Valpone, the Editor-in-Chief of The Healthy Apple and the Publisher and Marketing Director of the online gluten-free magazine, Easy Eats.
Lastly, we’ve been checking out the latest news and excitement about the expo and saw that some our favorite gluten-free bloggers will be attending the event, too! Check out Alison’s A Girl Defloured, Shannon’s Enjoying Gluten-Free Life, Jasmine’s Healthy Jasmine, Rachel and Crosby’s GFree Gal, and Matthew’s Fave Diets and Recipe Lion to get additional details about this delicious extravaganza.
