Celiac Awareness Tour…Next Stop: Philadelphia!

April 3, 2012

We’re continuing our gluten-free trip across the country, stopping in Philadelphia on April 28!

Not only will you learn something new about celiac disease (we promise there are still things you don’t know), but you’ll also get samples of tasty gluten-free goodies. Alice Bast, founder and president of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) will be speaking, and Chef James Harris who completed the NFCA’s GREAT Kitchens program will be cooking up some delicious gluten-free Italian food. Don’t you love it when you know you can eat everything without thinking twice – yum!

To put you in the mood for learning more, here’s a quick factoid for you: Do you know the financial cost of celiac disease over a four-year period? For ladies, it will cost you $4,019. Men have it even worse at $14,191 over four years. So anyone interested in learning how to live a cost-efficient gluten-free lifestyle in the Philadelphia area should come spend some time with us.

Our Rudi’s team will be on site, ready to offer gluten-free tips for a happy life while we will have samples of our delicious gluten free quesadillas on our NEW tortillas! Fun giveaways, and lots of fun energy!

Get ready for raffles and prizes, and join us at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Valley Forge on April 28 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. See you there!
