How long have you been eating organic foods and what’s your favorite?
I’ve slowly been incorporating more and more organic foods into my diet for the past four to five years. One of the first foods where I really noticed a difference in the product being organic was eggs; therefore they have remained one of my favorite organic foods to this day. I love how versatile they are!
Why is it important for you to continue living a healthy lifestyle?
I’m incredibly passionate about life and all that it has to offer – the good, the bad, the delicious and the challenges along the way. I notice such a positive difference in my mood and the way I feel when I am living a healthy lifestyle. I always want to feel my best!
What’s your favorite way to get out and get active?
Getting outside and being active through a variety of ways – long runs, bike rides, playing tennis, hikes, etc.!
What’s on your perfect sandwich?
While my answer completely changes with the season (and my mood), right now I am loving the abundance of fresh tomatoes and basil, so my favorite sandwich is definitely a Caprese Sandwich with layers of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil!
Anything else we should know about you?
My husband and I try hard to live a simple life. Right now this means no TV, no smartphones and no Facebook. While this may seem crazy to some, for us we feel there are already enough distractions and other ways we feel “connected.” These are just some ways to keep our life simplified and hopefully free up more time to get outside and be active.
