I have been trying to order my daughter some of your gluten-free products for a month now and have not been able to get it from our local stores because of them being out of stock everytime I go. Is there anyway to order the products online. I would order two cases if I was able to of you original sandwich bread.

  • Anabelle

I am trying this for the first time and would like to know the best way to serve and store it. Should I keep it in the freezer or fridge, or do I leave it out after it thaws? Do you recommend toasting it?
    Thanks for any help!

    • rudisglutenfree

Thanks for your question, Anabelle! Our bread has a shelf life of approximately 5 days outside of the freezer. We recommend storing the loaf in the freezer and pull out individual slices as you need them, which will take about 5 minutes to thaw (or you can just throw them in the toaster). When stored in the freezer, our bread will last 5-6 months. We do not recommend storing our bread in the refrigerator because it will dry our at an accelerated rate.

      • Anabelle

        Thank you so much!

        • rudisglutenfree

          No problem, my pleasure!

    • Matt

I have a better suggestion…take the slices of bread, place them on a plate and put them in a microwave with a small glass of water. If the bread is completely frozen, I have found that microwaving it between 60 and 70 seconds is perfect. It will be soft, warm, and not at all dry. Hope you take my suggestion!!

      • rudisglutenfree

Great new strategy, Matt! Thanks for the innovation!

  • Charlotte Grubb

Hi there! I was wondering what is the source of fiber in these breads? Do you use plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC)? Thank you!

    • rudisglutenfree

Thanks for reaching out with your question Charlotte! We boost the fiber content with Inulin, which is a 100% natural plant fiber found in a variety of plants. We source our Inulin from the Agave plant!

I have a question. Have you ever thought of increasing the size of your bread slices? They are wonderful but they do tend to be a bit small for sandwiches. I would probably even be willing to pay a little more if the slices were bigger…Just a suggestion!

    • rudisglutenfree

Thanks for reaching out with this very pertinent question Matt! In fact, the bigger the slices, the harder it is to maintain durability and consistency with gluten-free bread. It is very common for GF bread to form “holes” in the slices during the baking process. This issue is more likely to occur if the slices are bigger. Nevertheless, we are currently looking at new methods to increase the slice size.

Have you ever thought of not using Sunflower oil? My son is intolerant and it is difficult finding GF products without sunflower.

    • rudisglutenfree

      Hi Beth,
Thanks for your question and recommendation! We chose sunflower oil because to our knowledge, it is the most naturally-sourced oil that has little to no aftertaste. However, we have considered your recommendation and will continue to search for allergy friendly alternatives.

  • Annie

I am new to this gluten free thing. I am allergic to eggs and I see you have egg whites as one of the ingredients. Is it possible not to use egg in any form? Thanks.

    • rudisglutenfree

      Hi Annie,
Thanks for reaching out and providing your relevant question! Unfortunately, egg whites are essential to our bread formula and until we find a good replacement, we must keep them in our breads. That being said we have a line of 3 different award-winning gf tortillas that are in fact egg-free!

  • dustin

Is your bread organic? If not does it contain GMOs?

    • rudisglutenfree

      Hi Tanya,

Our entire gluten-free line is GMO-Free and made mostly with Organic ingredients! That being said, we are continuously researching production methods to convert to fully organic without having to raise our MSRP!
