Baked on the Bright Side

G-free Graham Crust!

November 8, 2012

Instead of just giving you a recipe for one specific type of pie I wanted you to have a gluten free pie crust recipe so you can make your grandmother’s pecan pie with only a few tweeks:) This recipe is extremely simple and can be adjusted to any flavor pie you are making.

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup almond meal

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup butter

3 tbsp sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Melt butter and combine all the ingredients in a bowl together until everything is evenly distributed. Pour into 8in pie/cake pan, flatten and push up edges to form a pie crust shape. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
