Boulder, Colo. – (March 7, 2014) – Rudi’s Organic Bakery officially announced seven new yummy and innovative products today at Natural Products Expo West. The Boulder-based company introduced Organic White English Muffins, the first nationally available product of its kind, along with Organic Pretzel Rolls, and a new and improved “soft and fluffy” recipe for their Organic Hot Dog Rolls and Hamburger Buns. Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery announced new Cherry Almond Bars, Heat & Serve Ciabatta Rolls, Deli Style Sandwich Bread, Double Fiber Sandwich Bread and Savory Herb Stuffing.  All of the new products highlight the company’s commitment to helping moms feed their families yummy breads and baked goods made with zero added junk.

Rudi’s Organic Bakery White English Muffins (MSRP: $4.59) are the only nationally available White English Muffins carrying the USDA organic seal, which also means they’re made with non-GMO ingredients. A delicious, organic twist on the classic breakfast item is perfect for egg benedicts, breakfast sandwiches or served simply with butter and jam.

 

Rudi’s Organic Bakery also launched salty, savory Pretzel Rolls (MSRP: $4.99), which are a tasty twist on the classic hamburger bun and free of artificial preservatives or pesticides. Lastly, Rudi’s Organic revamped the recipe of the Wheat and White Organic Hamburger Buns and Hotdog Rolls. Boulder, Colo. – (May 1, 2013) –Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery® is ready for summer vacation and can’t wait to help kids across the country enjoy their summer camp experience, even if they eat gluten-free. According to the American Camp Association, 10 million kids attend a summer camp every year. Since it’s a part of so many kids’ summer vacations, Rudi’s Gluten-Free is inviting Facebook fans to visit the “Rudi’s Gluten-Free Happy Camper” application this May, National Celiac Awareness Month, to submit a 200-word essay from their child for a chance to win one of 10 scholarships to a gluten-free summer camp.

“Enthusiastically giving back to our communities has long been an important part of our business, and this is the third year we’ve made a commitment to the gluten-free community during Celiac Awareness Month,” said Doug Radi, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Rudi’s Organic Bakery. “Summer camp is all about making memories that last, and a child’s dietary restrictions shouldn’t prevent them from having the experience of a lifetime. Parents with eligible children, ages 8-17, can enter the contest by ‘liking’ Rudi’s Gluten-Free on Facebook and submitting an essay from their child explaining what going to a gluten-free summer camp would mean to them. As an additional incentive to enter in early May, Rudi’s Gluten-Free has promised to give the first 250 eligible fans that enter an official Rudi’s Gluten-Free Happy Camper water bottle. The 10 winners will be selected by Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery and announced on Facebook on June 10, 2013, giving parents and campers time to plan and pack up for a summertime camp adventure.

Boulder, Colo. – (April 25, 2013) –Rudi’s Organic Bakery®, a national leader in the production of organic and gluten-free breads, baked goods and snacks, today announced the completion of an expansion to its Boulder bakery.  The expanded bakery will allow Rudi’s Organic to increase production of both its Rudi’s Organic and Rudi’s Gluten-Free products by moving the baking of its gluten-free products to an exclusively gluten-free production room. The new dedicated gluten-free bakery, adjacent to the existing organic bakery, will feature state-of-the-art equipment and ovens to enable Rudi’s to continue to grow with the market. Rudi’s Organic products are available nationally at natural foods stores and select mainstream supermarkets and the expansion of the bakery will allow the company to better meet growing retailer demands for its products.

The new bakery remodel adds over 10,000 square feet of production space, which is expected to nearly double the weekly output of both the organic and gluten-free production lines. The expansion will shift production schedules, allowing for both organic and gluten-free products to be produced every day of the week, rather than having to rotate between the two brands, including a thorough cleaning process to ensure zero cross-contamination. Lastly, the new bakery will add 45 employees to help staff the increased production schedule and capacity.

Rudi’s Organic Bakery Wins Two National Digital Marketing Awards!

Linhart Public Relations and Vermillion Design + Interactive honored for digital communications campaigns with client Rudi’s Organic 

DENVER, Colo., Oct. X, 2012 Linhart Public Relations, a national public relations, digital media and corporate communications counseling firm based in Colorado, together with Vermillion Design + Interactive of Boulder, Colo., were honored for their digital marketing campaigns with client Rudi’s Organic Bakery at the annual PR News Digital PR Awards in New York City on Monday, Oct. 1.

During the awards ceremony, attended by organizations and individuals behind the most innovative and successful digital communications campaigns of the year, Rudi’s Organic was selected as the winner in the WOW! Campaign category for “Rudi’s Organic Bakery: Let’s Doodle Lunch Campaign.” Rudi’s Organic also received an honorable mention in the Digital Marketing Campaign – $100,000 and under category for its “Brighter Days Giveaway” campaign.

For the WOW! Award, which was given to the most innovative digital campaign, Linhart PR and partner Vermilion helped Rudi’s Organic launch Let’s Doodle Lunch, a program to inspire children’s creativity and make lunch time more fun. The campaign invited moms to upload their child’s artwork to receive a free customized sandwich box with the child’s design on the lid. Each design uploaded to Facebook was immediately viewable in a gallery, where other moms and families could view the submissions. The campaign created a community of proud parents, and resulted in more than doubling “Likes” to the Rudi’s Organic Facebook page and helped achieve awareness and sales goals for the brand.

For the “Brighter Days Giveaway,” Rudi’s Organic invited Facebook fans to live healthier and happier lives by launching a 30-day giveaway of prizes that inspire a fun and healthy lifestyle – like Gaiam yoga DVDs, a digital camera from Kodak or Rudi’s Organic products. Additionally, fans who “Liked” Rudi’s Organic could instantaneously download a $1 coupon good for any Rudi’s Organic product. The campaign garnered more than 13,000 “Likes” for the brand, as well as drove coupon downloads, signups for the brand’s enewsletter and helped Rudi’s Organic meet sales goals for the quarter.
