Rudi’s Gluten-Free Dinner Party Promotion – Official Rules
OFFICIAL RULES. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL COLORADO RESIDENTS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF AUGUST 29, 2010. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. PROMOTION PERIOD: The entry period for the promotion begins on August 29th, 2010, at 12:00 AM MDT and ends on September 30th, 2010 at 11:59 PM MDT (“Promotion Period”).
2. HOW TO ENTER: Only one entry per person will be eligible. Any attempt by an entrant to enter more than once may result in disqualification of all entries submitted by that entrant. Internet Entry Method: You may enter this Promotion via the Internet by logging on to www.rudisbakery.com/glutenfreedinnerparty and providing all required information. Mail-In Entry Method: To enter by mail, send a postcard on which you have hand-printed your first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address (if available) to: Rudi’s Gluten-Free Dinner Party Promotion, Mail-In Entries, 3300 Walnut Street, Unit C, Boulder, CO 80301. All mail-in entries must be postmarked and received before the last day of the Promotion Period.
3. DRAWING AND AWARDING OF PRIZE: A random drawing will be conducted on or about October 10, 2010, from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period to determine winners of the prizes. The winners will be contacted between October 11, 2010 and October 22, 2010. All drawings are conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZE: Three prize winners will be selected from eligible entries. Upon verification of eligibility, each prize winner will receive one (1) gluten free dinner party for eight (8) people at Root Down restaurant in Denver, CO. Total ARV of each prize: $500. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of the prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the prize is unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for payment of all federal, state and local taxes on the prize and for any other expenses associated with the prize not specifically described herein. Except where prohibited by law, each potential winner will be awarded his or her prize only after such winner’s eligibility has been verified and such potential winner has completed (1) a statement of eligibility and (2) a liability and publicity release (unless prohibited by law). Failure by the potential winner to return such executed documents (including the publicity release described below) within ten (10) days after request by the Sponsor may result in disqualification of the potential winner. The winner must utilize the gluten free dinner party by March 1, 2011 or the prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor shall not have any further obligation to the winner or his or her guests.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Promotion open to all legal Colorado residents who are 18 years of age or older as of August 29, 2010. Employees of Sponsor and its respective affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (defined as current spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household as the foregoing parties are ineligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Promotion subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final in all matters relating to this Promotion.
6. NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified via email (or if no email address is provided, by telephone). Failure by potential winner to respond to such notification within ten (10) days after Sponsor’s first attempt, failure by the potential winner to adhere to these official rules, or the return of the prize as undeliverable will result in disqualification of the potential winner and an alternate winner will be selected.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of prizes. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries due to system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions and/or entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, or faulty transmissions, or for any problems or technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, or entries not received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or at a web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering the Promotion or downloading any material for the Promotion, or other telecommunications malfunctions which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree that the Sponsor and its affiliate companies, advertising and promotions agencies, any entities providing prizes, and all of their agents, directors,officers, representatives, shareholders and employees will have no liability whatsoever for, and the winners will indemnify, defend and hold the foregoing parties harmless from, any claims, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, possession or use of any prize that may be awarded. Entrants hereby waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Promotion or these official rules.
8. MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION: In the event the Promotion is compromised by unauthorized human intervention, tampering, mechanical or electronic failures, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, in its sole discretion to void any entries submitted fraudulently or to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion, in which case the Sponsor shall not be required to award any prize or substitute prize. The Sponsor will prosecute any and all fraudulent activities to the fullest extent of the law.
9. PROMOTION: By participating in the Promotion, the winners grant the Sponsor and its licensees, affiliates and assigns the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, at any time or times, such winners’ names, portraits, pictures, voices, likenesses and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes relating to this Promotion without additional financial or other compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winners must sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize unless prohibited by law. Winners further agree to appear for any presentation or other activity which may include filming, audio, video, electronic or other recordings and/or interviews as may be determined from time to time by the Sponsor (including allowing such activities to take place at the winner’s dinner party), unless prohibited by law. By providing information pursuant to this Promotion, the entrant consents to the Sponsor’s use of such information for promotional or any other purposes allowed by law.

11. SPONSOR: Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Inc. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or end the Promotion at any time.
